Mystery Cake
Mystery Cake
“Oh, by the way,” Cody said to us, “I made the weirdest cake last night.”
“Yeah, that’s for sure,” Ryker agreed with a smirk. “Other than raisins, I don’t know what he put in it. But believe it or not, it actually tastes pretty good.”
“So, you guys want to try it?” Cody asked, rising from his seat. “You’ve got to eat some and guess the different ingredients!”

THE RIDDLE SCHEME
Clearly, resourceful Cody baked an interesting cake! Although the only thing his friends originally knew was that there were raisins in it, here’s his recipe, with all the ingredients.
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
½ cup almond flour
½ cup peanut flour
¾ cup sugar
5 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon nutmeg?
1 teaspoon almond extract
½ cup raisins
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a 9x9 pan with nonstick cooking spray. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and stir, mixing well. Pour into the pan and bake for 25—30 minutes, until you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean in the center.
